Aer Lingus A320 EI-EDS operated EI630 Dublin – Milan Malpensa early this morning, however the return EI631 was cancelled due to a technical issue. The aircraft was able to position Milan Malpensa – Dublin late at night as EI993.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DES Returns from Bordeaux.

Following the technical issue it encountered yesterday, Aer Lingus A320 EI-DES departed Bordeaux early this morning operating yesterday’s delayed EI507 Bordeaux – Dublin as EI1507.

Aer Lingus A321LR EI-LRC Delivered.

Aer Lingus A321LR EI-LRC was delivered Finkenwerder – Dublin as EI2395 this evening. The aircraft is in 16J/168Y configuration, is named St Fiacre and wears Aer Lingus 2019 livery. This is the third A321LR for the airline.

Following the earlier A320 bird strike at Belfast City, Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEC positioned Dublin – Belfast City as EI991 early this afternoon after arriving as EI593 from Madrid in order to operate the delayed EI934 Belfast City – London Heathrow.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DVN EI930 Belfast International Bird Strike Diversion.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DVN operating EI930 Belfast City – London Heathrow encountered a bird strike on take off this morning so stopped the climb at 4,500ft, entered a hold to work checklists then diverted to Belfast International for a safe landing. The flight, and the return EI931, were subsequently cancelled.

Aer Lingus A321 EI-LRB Delivered.

Aer Lingus A321LR EI-LRB was delivered Finkenwerder – Dublin as EI2395 early this evening. The aircraft is in 16J/168Y configuration and wears Aer Lingus 2019 livery. This is the second A321LR for the airline.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEM operated EI436 Dublin – Milan Malpensa this evening, however following the earlier A320 technical issue at Verona the return EI437 was cancelled and the aircraft instead positioned Milan Malpensa – Verona as EI990 in order to operate the delayed EI413 Verona – Dublin after midnight.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEG Knock Cancellation.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEG operated EI911 London Gatwick – Knock early this evening, however the return EI912 was cancelled and after four and a half hours on the ground the aircraft positioned Knock – Dublin, also as EI911.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEI Verona Technical Issue.

Aer Lingus A320 EI-DEI operated EI412 Dublin – Verona this afternoon, however it was unable to operate the return EI413 due to a technical issue. The aircraft was able to position Verona – Dublin late at night as EI993.

ASL Airlines B737-300 EI-STA Positions for Aer Lingus Operations.

Following its diversion in the early hours of this morning, ASL Airlines Boeing 737-31S EI-STA positioned Belfast International – Belfast City as EI990 early this morning then operated the following Aer Lingus services:

EI946/EI947 Belfast City – Malaga
EI972/EI973 Belfast City – Faro.

ASL Airlines B737-300 EI-STA Operates for Aer Lingus, Diverts to Malaga and Belfast International.

ASL Airlines Boeing 737-31S EI-STA operated the following Aer Lingus services today:

EI972/EI973 Belfast City – Faro
EI948/EI949 Belfast City – Malaga.

However EI949 stopped the climb at 11,000ft due to a technical issue and returned to Malaga for a safe landing. The aircraft departed again shortly after midnight but diverted to Belfast International having missed curfew at Belfast City.
